Today was our West Suss*x Full Council where we debated our motion aiming to address the funding gap for refugees, asylum seekers and demand transparency from the Home Office.

We used the hard data we could get, along with estimates we put together to demonstrate the possible hidden numbers in Crawley.

This demonstrated a hidden cost to the council for housing home office refugees in addition to the unfunded pressure through the refugee resettlement schemes.

We spoke about real life cases in Crawley, emotive ones, to show the real world effect of prioritising those coming from abroad over our own West Suss*x residents.

What was the response?

LibDem, Labour, Green and Tory Party members unanimously opposed it.

Reform are for you, West Suss*x. We stand alone in that. Remember this the next time you are asked to vote.

I just spoke with one of the night marshalls we had in Crawley, keeping the high street safe for people enjoying a night out.

These were funded by the home office and cancelled earlier this year. I guess they had to save money for more important costs for Crawley.

This person tells me they receive messages from members of the public wishing for their return, citing the accelerated decline in safety.

Although right now I can not promise their return, it is the number 1 priority of your Crawley Reform group to make our town safe again. It's one hell of a task, but we will take it on.

As illegal immigration issues escalate around the Gosport area, I would like to draw your attention to the new centre being developed.

"The Home Office is proceeding with plans to open a redeveloped IRC at the former Haslar IRC at Gosport in Hampshire in 2027. Development is being undertaken in two phases: refurbishment of existing buildings (Phase 1) and new build accommodation (Phase 2).

Haslar IRC will be a mixture of refurbished and new-build accommodation built to the latest standards, taking account of findings from external scrutiny reports and internal lessons learned reviews to provide modern, safe, secure accommodation for detained men.

Around 130 bed spaces will be created through the refurbishment of the existing accommodation, compared with 198 places at the former IRC when it closed in 2016. Subject to planning permission and the necessary approvals, Phase 2 would provide around 470 additional places, increasing Haslar’s total capacity to around 600."

Two men are charged with child s*xual offences in Crawley.

"Following further enquiries, Ali Farahang, 19, an Iraqi national of Hunter Road, Crawley, has been charged with attempted r**e and human trafficking under the Modern Slavery Act."

"Adam Maina, 19, a Lebanese national of Bath Road in London, has been charged with r**e and human trafficking under the Modern Slavery Act."

We do have a statement regarding these crimes, however in the interest of ensuring the court process completes properly, that will have to wait.

If you see us quiet on this, believe me it is with very good reason.

The scenes in France show the hard-left in action. Years of indoctrination of our people, especially our children, yields this fruit.

The videos show you everything. Youths destroying everything they can with glee. They're proud of this. It is widely believed this is linked to mass immigration, where many of the people involved are not integrated and have no love for their own country. Official reporting hasn't gone to this conclusion yet.

The question we have to ask is: is this limited to France? Could this happen here? I remember the events in 2011 in Croydon and elsewhere.

Latest figures I could find:

- Nearly 3,000 mostly 15-18-year-olds detained since late September; 1,949 on Thursday alone, about 90% minors.

- Thursday: 305 officers injured. Overall: about 40 headteachers, 65 staff, and 170 pupils hurt.

- around 100 schools severely damaged; 400 closed Friday. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes damage alone estimated at €25–30 million.

- Offences include arson, attacks on police and teachers, illegal gatherings, and property damage (bins, cars, a Marseille fire engine).

After Andy Burnham's hard-left socialist speech at the Labour conference, we can see what this government and the Labour party are all about: control.

Reform stands for liberty, safety, prosperity.

While we campaign for equality under the law, they push for DEI and race driven policing and justice.

While we try to get more money in your pocket, they raise taxes, raid pensions and print money as if your grandchildren weren't forced to pay it back.

While we want secure borders and a strong cultural identity, they rubber-stamp asylum claims and force them into our communities as they consume the public services that we rely on, adding more and more Brits into a state of desperation.

Nothing has changed under Labour. Only Reform can save this country.

X and Reddit posts from unsuspecting Brits attacking the UK's anti-terror policy Prevent were added to a database of critical online comments, Metro can reveal.

The Home Office records 304 supported asylum seekers in Crawley.

This is where the statistical gymnastics comes in. As soon as an asylum seeker is granted refugee status (which seems to be a rubber-stamping YES process), they come off the books. They will not publish refugee numbers.

So both the boroughs/districts and county councils are forced to support the mistakes made by successive governments. Our housing is stretched, school places diminished, SEND support far beyond capacity, adult social care costs ballooning and on and on.

We don't know the numbers because they are hidden. How can councils possibly plan and operate like this? They can't do so effectively so they go into tremendous debt and raise taxes thanks to these incoming and invisible extra pressures - mostly the fault of the Home Office and thus the governments of the past decades.

I've put together some provisional numbers and am pursuing getting something a little more accurate now.

It's time to stand up for ourselves and be honest about the position we're in.

We are being exploited and, in my opinion, I think many of those in the Home Office and previous and current governments have known it all too well. They cannot be trusted.

We need a strong, Reform government to control our borders. No one else has the drive to do it.
