Tidy up day today!

Tidy up day tomorrow!

These are just a few of the tasks we hope to get done.

• w**ding at top of Highfield to include bus shelter area
• w**d and cut vegetation at top of Mill Hill/Highfield footpath entrance
• w**d bank between Lower Town Place and the Church Green, save some chestnut whips
• remove ivy and brambles on Church Green/churchyard wall
• rake and remove dead twigs under chestnut trees on Church Green
• w**d above bus shelter towards Prospect Way
• general tidy up of car park
• w**d around and wipe down historic village pumps
• remove advert for roofing company on bridge
• w**ding everywhere!

There really is a lot to do…can you help please, even if it’s for a short time.

Please bring your own gardening equipment.

To register, so that you are insured, please come along to the Orchard Centre.

Free refreshments bring provided in the Victory Hall, in conjunction with the Congregational Church Coffee Morning.

Thank you to everyone who came along to yesterday’s Annual Parish Meeting.

A total of 19 reports were presented, from village organisations, all extremely positive and encouraging.

The questions and answer session provided some comments and suggestions for the Parish Council to consider.
