Crediton Town Council was established in 1973 and is responsible for the service of numerous facilities and property within the town including 3 allotment sites, the War Memorial, St Boniface Statue, The Bandstand and Newcombes Meadow public conveniences. Crediton has a close and friendly community with lots of green open spaces, shops and a strong connection with the Arts.

We are disappointed to be receiving more reports of dog mess in Crediton. The town council has been supplying FREE poo bags for years and we are glad to see they are well used by responsible dog owners. These bags are currently available at CREDITON LIBRARY. If you are reading this and know you have left dog mess, please bear in mind others are stepping in it - even children. Please do the responsible thing. PICK IT UP.

CREDITON STATION NEEDS YOUR VOTE!

Crediton Railway Station has made it into the final 20 in the World Cup of Stations 2026! The former station building, The Crediton Station Tea Rooms is home to the fantastic The Turning Tides Project CIC, who work to ensure that everyone has the right of equal access to the arts and life.
