More people across Mid Cheshire are receiving care at home thanks to our Virtual Wards service.

In July, a record 172 patients were supported by our Virtual Ward teams, helping them receive safe, effective care in the comfort of their own homes where appropriate.

By combining technology, specialist monitoring and dedicated clinical support, Virtual Wards are helping people recover in familiar surroundings while reducing the need for a hospital stay.

Thank you to our teams for their continued commitment to patient care. đź’™

District Nurse Receives Prestigious National Award
Congratulations to Suzie, who has been awarded the prestigious Philip Goodeve-Docker Prize by the Queen's Institute of Community Nursing in recognition of her outstanding achievement while completing her Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing.

Suzie said: "I am honoured to receive the award. Completing the SPQ qualification has been a challenging but hugely rewarding journey, and this was such a nice surprise at the end of the course. I am now prouder than ever to be a district nurse!"

Head of Quality and Nursing, Joanne Bowen, described the award as "a true achievement of exceptional District Nursing practice and education."
Congratulations, Suzie, on a richly deserved national recognition.
