Last week our school project came to a close for the year, we'd like to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible young people we have had the privilege of working with throughout the year.

We rounded things off with a go-karting trip for the final four YPs, giving everyone the opportunity to reflect on the year.

Participants were presented with their JAS and ASDAN certificates, along with a personalised report highlighting their individual journey and achievements throughout the project.

We couldn't be prouder of every young person who has taken part. Over the past year, we have seen particular growth in resilience, confidence, and meaningful relationships develop between peers and staff alike.
Each participant has contributed something unique to the project, and it has been a pleasure to witness their progress.

We'd also like to thank Mr Ducker and the wider school team for their ongoing support. Their collaborative approach and commitment to working alongside us has helped create positive opportunities and outcomes for the young people involved.

To all of the students who have been part of this year's project, thank you for your effort, honesty, humour, and determination. We wish you every success in your next steps and look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.

🌊 Kayaking Success! 🚣‍♀️

We had an amazing time out sit-on kayaking with our young people and wow, they absolutely smashed it! 🙌

Everyone showed fantastic determination, supported each other, and stepped out of their comfort zones.

Through the session, they developed so many important skills, including:
✨ Teamwork & communication
✨ Confidence-building
✨ Resilience and perseverance
✨ Water safety awareness
✨ Coordination and paddling technique
✨ Problem-solving and independence

We’re so proud of how well they all did, such a positive, memorable experience for everyone involved even if YW Lauren fell in within the first 5 minutes 🤣! 👏

🎨✨ Creative vibes last night! ✨🎨

Our young people got hands-on with clay, bringing their ideas to life and creating amazing little animals 🐰🐶🐢 Each piece was unique, showing off their creativity, imagination, and growing confidence 💭💡

It was great to see everyone supporting each other, sharing ideas, and just enjoying the process. Activities like this aren’t just fun – they’re a brilliant way to relax, express emotions, and build connections 🤝💙

We love seeing creativity in action! 👏

Huge shoutout to our young people who crushed it at the Wythenshawe Pump Track!

Forest trails ✔️
Bigger track ✔️
New skills, new confidence, and loads of smiles ✔️

They pushed themselves, supported each other, and showed what happens when young people get the chance to thrive outdoors.
