Crewe Town Council was formed in 2013 as the result of a referendum, with a role to provide a strong voice for Crewe. The Council is made up of twenty elected members and has a small team of officers delivering local services and activities.

📸 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮 - 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯

What a fantastic way to round off Discover Crewe on Sea 2026!

We saw a bit of everything from the Bank Holiday weather today, but that didn't stop visitors making the most of the sandcastles, bubbles, seaside silliness and plenty of family fun.

A huge thank you to The Van Dunk Brothers, Cosmic Faerie, Face Painting Pixie, and Catch92 for or helping to create such a fun and memorable atmosphere.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came along and joined in with such good humour. Whether you built a sandcastle, joined in with the performances or simply stopped by to enjoy the atmosphere, you helped make it a brilliant end to the weekend.

And a special thank you to Peter Robinson for once again capturing so many wonderful moments for us to look back on.

We are delighted to contribute annual funding to Wishing Well Supported Adults Service and the fantastic work they deliver to our community. Their Wellbeing Wednesdays take place every Wednesday at The George’s Community Hub, home of their Supported Adults Service, bringing people together for friendship, fun and wellbeing.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮 - 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆!

It's your final chance to enjoy Discover Crewe on Sea in Lyceum Square this summer.

Enjoy FREE face painting with Face Painting Pixie from 11am - 3pm.

Cosmic Faerie will be bringing her bubble shows throughout the day, creating a magical experience for visitors of all ages

Look out for The Van Dunk Brothers, armed with a trunk full of trunks, swimming caps, goggles, armbands and verruca cream! Their award-winning dry-land synchronised swimming spectacular is packed with comedy, audience participation and seaside silliness.

Catch92 is back to provide the perfect summer soundtrack throughout the day.

If the weather serves up another classic British Bank Holiday, we'll look to move some activities and performances into Crewe Market Hall

From giant locomotives to miniature railway rides, there's plenty to see and do, including the miniature railway, exhibitions, model railways, viewing platform, café and shop.

What a day! Despite some very classic British seaside weather, we welcomed visitors for face painting with Face Painting Pixie , music from Catch92 , crafts with Creative Crewe, lifesaving entertainment, cheeky seagulls and plenty of seaside fun.

Great to see the Lifesaver in action today🌊at Discover Crewe on Sea Day 2!

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮!

The Giant Seagulls are back for more mischief, so keep an eye on your snacks!

Enjoy FREE face painting and crafts with Creative Crewe and Pixie Jen Face Painting from 11am - 3pm.

Catch92 will be providing the summer soundtrack throughout the day.

The Lifesaver, Australia's very own lifesaving hero, will be bringing an action-packed comedy show to Crewe on Sea. Combining incredible circus hooping skills with daring beach rescues, The Lifesaver promises plenty of laughter, fun and Aussie charm.

The beach is out on Lyceum Square, complete with some added cover for visitors.
If the weather decides to be a little too British, we'll look to move performances and activities indoors to Crewe Market Hall , as we did yesterday, so the fun can continue whatever the forecast.
