Hugh died on the 28th August 1943 aged 22 years. He is buried at Townsend Cemetery in Crewkerne, and served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was the son of Thomas and Winifred W. Male, of Crewkerne.

๐ŸชฆThis is one of a number of Commonwealth War Graves at Townsend Cemetery maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
