Annual Parish Meeting 2026

Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Parish Meeting on 28 May.

It was a pleasant evening and an opportunity to reflect on the positive changes and achievements made across the village over the past year, while also looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities that lie before us.

During the meeting, we heard from a number of organisations and groups within Crick, who shared updates on their activities, achievements and progress over the last year. The Parish Council also provided an overview of its work during the past twelve months, including ongoing projects and future priorities for the community.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Certificates of Thanks, which recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to village life through their dedication, hard work and community spirit.

Pictured is Barbara Brazier with her family. Barbara was one of four recipients recognised this year. The other awardees were June Marks, Derek Gardner and Paul Preece.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, and thank you to everyone who continues to give their time, energy and support to help make Crick such a special community.

❤️ Crick Parish Council is pleased to share that two additional public access defibrillators have now been registered on The Circuit, which is the national defibrillator network used by ambulance services across the UK.

One new defibrillator has been installed at:

📍 Magnolia Tearooms
West Haddon Road
Crick
NN6 7SQ

Located on the front gate of the tearoom, to the left of the Crick Garden Centre entrance.

The second unit is a replacement defibrillator installed at the Co-op.

The Circuit helps emergency services quickly locate the nearest available defibrillator during a cardiac arrest, helping to improve response times and potentially save lives.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone involved in helping make these installations possible. The Council is also continuing to explore further locations around the village, with additional defibrillators planned for the future as part of ongoing community resilience and safety efforts.
