Reading 9-5!

Dolly Parton deserves a little mention from a community library like ours. Inspired by her father’s inability to read, Dolly used her platform to create the “Imagination Library” to gift children millions of books across the world. A published author with a passion for encouraging children to enjoy reading, no matter their background - believing that reading gives us the ability to learn, dream and achieve.

We at Crickhowell Library share those same sentiments, and why we thought she deserved a little recognition for all she’s done for libraries, and children.

Since we don't get to see our favourite friend Vanguard tomorrow morning, we're having an extra Crafty Club. Lots of you were sad to miss out on our friendship bracelet session so we're bringing it back tomorrow.

CANCELLED - our favourite library dog won't be able to make it to the library tomorrow.
He'll be busy getting pampered at the dog groomers in the morning, making sure that he's looking his best for school next week - such a good dog!

INSTEAD - we will be doing friendship bracelets for anyone who missed out last time and for those who might want to welcome back a friend with one of their own!
