A decision has been made to close Cricklade Open Door on Thursday 25th June (due to the extreme heat). It will re open again as normal on Monday 29th June.

With the extreme hot weather alert in place for this week, if you are vulnerable/have health issues and need a cool space to retreat to, Cricklade Leisure Centre have kindly offerred the use of their air conditioned cafe as a designated hub to get out of the heat during their opening hours. Water will also be available on request. Please spread the word to anyone you know who may be struggling to stay cool in this unprecedented weather. Thank you to Andy and the team for providing this facility for our community.

Cricklade Art Group are holding their 20th Anniversary Summer Exhibition this coming Saturday (27th) and Sunday (28th) in Cricklade Town Hall, 10am-4pm. Their page currently features work from all the local artists who will be exhibiting and includes paintings, pottery and glass work. Please come along this weekend to view some incredible talent. Free admission and refreshments available.

A Climate Film Screening of The People's Emergency Briefing (as seen in Westminster) is coming to Cricklade Town Hall, 4pm on Saturday 25th July. This event is open to anyone who is interesting in learning more about how climate change is affecting us now, what is likely to happen in the future and the good news about what we can do about it. FREE admission.
