Muthill Old Churchyard

Muthill Old Churchyard A project to record the burials in Muthill's Old Churchyard and capture the changing views.

This project started in late August 2017 and was originally intended as an on-this-day photographic project for Instagram to record "on-this-day" the stones with "today's" date on them; capturing the weather and the light of the day. With poor evening light and a haphazard approach to remembering where each stone was (essentially me peering at stones and mentally noting upcoming dates and also in

view of stones already lost (5th Sept I noted two stones which had fallen over that day) I decided on a change of plan. I have stared a pre-project survey of all of the inscriptions which I will also photograph. The On-This-Day project will then be restarted at an appropriate date; 1st Nov or 1st Jan depending on how well the survey goes. In the meantime, I will continue to post views from the churchyard and interesting details as i find them.
