Carnival day Cromer Wednesday 19th and what a day it was. Thousands of visitors and something for everyone. The Red Arrows were absolutely amazing and the sky was perfect. Our stall was incredibly busy with Splat the Rat and Tin can Alley and we met some lovely people. East Runton car park was extremely busy as was the beach so we had more watchkeepers on duty. The whole of carnival week has been simply incredible, the carnival committee have done an outstanding job. Sadly despite the long dry spell the timing of the much needed rain could have been better as it arrived at parade time but it did not seem to dampen peoples spirits. We were delighted to be part of this incredible event and were present at the showground both Tuesday and Wednesday it certainly is one of the premier events on our coastline and is a full week of entertainment, thanks to all that both participated and attended we hope you had both a memorable and safe visit. A beautiful day at West Runton Marine day yesterday where we joined Norfolk Wildlife Trust for the family friendly event. It was a great opportunity for visitors to learn about our coastal environment and to enjoy nature respectfully and stay safe. There were guided coastal walks, rockpooling sessions, hands on nature crafts and multiple agencies that had safety help and advice. We were delighted to attend this event where we were blessed with amazing weather and met some lovely people. Eyes Along the Coast.

Our fund raising and PR team attended the Worstead Festival on it`s 60th anniversary year and what an amazing event it was. Food demonstrations, food and drink stalls, craft stalls, charity stalls, live music ,classic cars and tractors, heavy horses, retro gaming and the finest and largest Lego display you will ever see. An incredible event run by amazing people. We had lots of lovely visitors and managed to raise some funds as well. The sun shone and it was a wonderful weekend. We were delighted to be part of this charity event. Our thanks to Worstead Festival committee and we hope we can support your event again. Eyes Along the Coast.

And so the fundraising begins. Firstly a collection at Morrisons Cromer then on to Worstead Festival grounds to erect the gazebo ready for the weekend. We will be there both Saturday and Sunday with our brilliant tombola and also safety information. Hope to see you there, for those that have not been it is a brilliant event with something for all age groups. The Lego display in the hall is simply outstanding and there are retro gaming consoles as well so come along and have fun. Eyes Along the Coast.
