Access, Recruit, Support, Maintain.

For a more diverse workforce.

We are delighted to announce that DurhamEnable has been appointed to deliver the Employer Inclusion and Workforce Redesign Trailblazer across the whole of the North East until 31 March 2027.

This fully funded programme will help businesses explore practical ways to attract, recruit, support and retain a more diverse workforce.

The initiative will bring together employers, specialist partners and people with lived experience from across the region to identify barriers, share best practice and implement solutions that improve workplace inclusion and workplace success for disabled and neurodivergent people, and women experiencing health challenges, while helping businesses meet their workforce and organisational goals.

Whether a business is just starting on their inclusion journey or looking to build on existing good practice, they can engage at a level that suits their organisation. This could be a discussion about workforce needs, provision of tailored advice, training for managers and employees, or more intensive support to review and improve current practices.
