There are now just 3 library sessions to return your books and complete the challenge, so do call in on Thursday or Saturday. The challenge finishes at 1pm Saturday 5th.

On this rainy day, congratulations go to Lucas Parker, who has successfully completed the libraries Summer Reading Challenge reading six books during his summer holiday. Congratulations, Lucas, a great achievement. We look forward to seeing you back for more books soon.

Don’t forget to finish your colourful musical instrument in time for judging on Saturday.
Please bring all entries into the library by 12 noon Saturday, for judging. Lots of musical rewards available. Don’t miss out.

Some wonderful wiggly caterpillars were certainly the attraction this morning. Adults and children alike enjoyed creating with lolly sticks. No session next Monday as it’s bank holiday. Thanks to all who have attended or volunteered at these extra holiday sessions.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Breast Cancer now coffee Morning today. We raised £318 for this fantastic charity Sue.

Our Breast Cancer Now cafe is set up and looking forward to seeing you tomorrow with lovely homemade cakes and some activities to get involved with. We will be offering a take cake home option too. We hope to see you 10.00 - 12.00 tomorrow at the hub.

The Read to the Beat instrument competition date has been extended to Saturday 29th August. The first entry is in and it’s a cracker! So get your creative juices flowing and see if you can beat it.
