In the moment planning follows the child’s interests, it is the interests of the child what influences our everyday set up. Our environment enhances higher involvement from the child, that way they are engaged and interested and we as practitioners can extend play to ensure all areas are covered. It is through engaging and sti

mulating experiences that they are interested in that keeps them involved and willing to learn. Getting to know the child during inductions and through parents is key and continuing to know and explore how a child learns will enable them to reach their full potential!

As promised, today I’m sharing I Am 2.

Following yesterday’s I Am 1, we’re continuing the Brain Development Series with another stage in a child’s incredible journey of development.

The Brain Development Series follows children’s development from ages 1–25, helping explain what is happening inside the developing brain at each stage. Every child develops at their own pace, but understanding the journey can help us respond with greater patience, confidence and understanding.

Today’s post explores the exciting stage where independence grows, curiosity explodes and those famous words… “Me do it!” become part of everyday life.

Hi all just to let you know we will be open all day tomorrow.

Do we have any people on here that can mend the flush on our toilet please.
When we push the flush there is no pressure and it takes a lot of filling up with bowls to regain the pressure to enable the toilet to flush.

Any help would be appreciated

Packed Lunches: We have found in the cold weather children are getting fed up with sandwiches.
Some children are coming with insulated food flasks with hot food in them which they are enjoying.
