We’re looking for a volunteer to chair the new Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board for Croydon West.
The board will lead the government-funded £20m community project, making improvements in: West Thornton, Broad Green, Bensham Manor and Selhurst.
The project supports Executive Mayor Jason Perry - Mayor of Croydon's priority to regenerate our district centres.

This is a unique chance to:

✅ Shape decisions led by residents

Today marks 26 years operation of the tram service between Wimbledon and Croydon, along the former railway line.

Serving stops in Broad Green ward at Therapia Lane and Ampere Way, it’s an invaluable link for our community and others across our part of South London with the handy journey opportunities it provides.

We’re also delighted that TfL are planning to introduce a fleet of 24 new trams to replace the original CR4000 models that have been used since the service opened.

In Croydon we really do love our trams. Here’s to the next 26 years and beyond. Ding-ding! 🚋💚💙

🚨Good news for Broad Green residents!

After many complaints and ongoing concerns about the potholes on Mitcham Road, we're pleased to see that repairs have finally been completed. As Broad Green councillors, we have been actively pushing for these improvements, holding numerous discussions with council officers to ensure this issue was addressed. We’re pleased that the potholes have now been repaired and fresh tarmac laid, making the road smoother and safer for everyone who uses it.

Thank you to everyone who raised this issue with us - your feedback helps us keep improving our local area.
