🌡️🚐 Current status of the C&C van in this heatwave…

We came out to sharpen tools and ended up being the melting instead 🫠☀️

At this point Dan’s surviving purely on iced coffee and more iced coffee 😂

Please bear with us while we slowly dissolve across Devon & Cornwall… 🔥

(We in no way are moaning about the sunshine.. it would just be nice to have a pool to jump into!)

A year ago today, we lost our Ruby.
Our mascot. Our soul dog. Our heart. Our everything. ❤️

And honestly… I still can barely say those words without tears.

I cannot believe it has been a whole year since we had to say goodbye to the most beautiful, funny, loving girl who ever walked into our lives. The pain of losing her is something we still carry every single day. But alongside that pain is overwhelming gratitude… because how lucky were we to have been her family?

Not a single day has gone by where we haven’t thought about her, talked about her, laughed about the ridiculous goofy things she used to do, or spoken about how stunning, special, and deeply loved she was. We miss her every second of every day.

Ruby wasn’t “just a dog.” She was part of the soul of this business, part of our family, part of us.

And while we now have another little whirlwind in our lives in Freyja — who we absolutely adore and love with all our hearts — there will never, ever be another Ruby. Nothing could ever replace her, because dogs like her only come once in a lifetime.

We will love you forever, Ruby. Until we meet again. 🌈

And if I could know with certainty that you’d be there waiting for me when my time comes, then I don’t think I’d ever be afraid to leave this world. ❤️
