Less than a week to go!

Just to remind everyone that we are closing at 1.00pm every day up to and including the 28th March which is when the shop and Post Office closes forever. :(

We have had a large parcel delivered by DPD at the weekend. It has no name only our address. If it's yours, please collect urgently.

WE WILL HAVE NO ELECTRICITY THIS DAY THANKS TO THE POPLAR TREES BEING ROTTEN AND HAVING TO BE FELLED OR TOPPED.

As long as storm Franklin doesn't cause any problems, the shop will be open as normal tomorrow. Phil has re-stocked fridges and freezers.

Due to no electricity the shop will be closed until further notice.

Yay. Telephone phone line fixed so post office will up and running normally next week.

We have not had any luck with Openreach coming straight away. They have given us Friday as the earliest date they can attend. It looks like there will be no Post Office facilities this week!
The shop is ok and will be open all day tomorrow and half day Friday.
I will post any updates.

Just to let you know that the telephone line that works the Post Office and shop phone is not working. We are unsure when the line will be fixed.
Therefore, the Post Office is closed for now. The shop is open until 1pm.
