Snowdrop Valley Snowdrop Valley is now closed for 2026! Check back for news and updates about the 2027 event.

The Snowdrop Valley Park and Ride Scheme is run every February by Cutcombe Parish Council in conjunction with the Exmoor National Park Authority. The land is owned by the Badgworthy Land Company who kindly give their permission each year for the valley to be open to walkers and those travelling down on the scheduled Park and Ride bus. 2022 the park and ride is not available.

✨It’s the final weekend of Snowdrop Valley. If you haven’t managed to visit yet, there is still time! We’re open today and tomorrow 9am-4pm. The Snowdrop Valley Café is open in the valley today from 11am-2pm selling lots of delicious cakes and hot drinks! 😋

Come and visit the Snowdrop Valley Café this half term! The café, located in the valley, will be open daily from Saturday 14th until Saturday 21st February from 11am-2pm (closed Thursday 19th). Find cakes, biscuits and hot chocolates! Yum.

🥾 Please remember the paths are muddy and suitable sturdy footwear is required.

🐾 Dogs on leads welcome.

🚙 Parking is at the Cutcombe Cattle Market. Please note: on Wednesday 18th alternative parking is at the Rest & Be Thankful due to a market day taking place.

The Snowdrop Valley Café is open tomorrow and Sunday from 11am-2pm (weather dependent)!

🍰 Find cakes, biscuits, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The café is run by volunteers of Cutcombe and Exford Schools.

Why not take part in the Monks Trail! Find out more at the café.

🥾 Please remember if you’re visiting the valley the paths to and from are muddy. Ensure you have suitable, sturdy footwear.

🌱Snowdrop Valley opens this Saturday 24th January and will run daily until Sunday 22nd February!

🚙Parking is at the Cutcombe Cattle Market (TA24 7DT) car park, the charge is £5.00 per car, this includes a map to the valley. Kiosk is open 9am-4pm.

☔️Please be aware, we’ve experienced (and are continuing to experience!) a very wet winter, the paths are muddy and suitable sturdy footwear is essential.

✨VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SNOWDROP VALLEY 2026!

Snowdrop Valley in Wheddon Cross will return from Saturday 24th January until Sunday 22nd February 2026. The event is run entirely by a group of local volunteers and we are on the look out for new volunteers to come and join our friendly team!

Could you spare a morning or afternoon during the event dates? If yes, we’d love to hear from you! Volunteers help with car parking, directions to the valley and generally making all our visitors feel welcome.

It’s been wonderful to see so many visitors to Snowdrop Valley over the last few days! 🌱

The event is open until Sunday 23rd February, weather depending.

🕰️ Open daily 9am-4pm. The event is open throughout the school half term.
🥾 Please wear suitable footwear! The paths are very muddy. You will need walking boots, hard wearing footwear or wellies.
🚗 Car parking is in the Cutcombe Cattle Market (TA24 7DT) and costs £5 per car. Alternative parking on market days, follow signage in place.
🍰 Refreshments are available in the village. Don’t forget the Snowdrop Valley Cafe will be open 11am-2pm from Saturday 15th - Sunday 23rd February. Find cakes and hot drinks, raising funds for Friends of Cutcombe & Exford Schools.
