⚠️ Important Update – Temporary Closure Due to Red Weather Warning ⚠️
There will be no Minecraft club this week (25/6/26) and the library will be closing at 1pm.
Following the red weather warning, we have made the decision to close early on Thursday. With no air conditioning available, we do not want to put our volunteers, staff, service users, or the wider community at risk during the peak heat of the day.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone we support and work alongside must always come first.
Please take extra care during this extreme weather. Remember to:
☀️ Apply suncream regularly
💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
👒 Wear a hat and light clothing if you need to go outside
🌳 Stay in the shade as much as possible
🏠 Avoid unnecessary travel and only go out if absolutely essential
Red weather warnings are issued to help keep everyone safe, so please take them seriously and look after yourselves, your families, and those who may be more vulnerable.
