A six week zine workshop where you can slow down and turn everyday stories into handmade artefacts. Across two hours each week, you’ll fold, collage, sketch or write and experiment with DIY publishing. A creative refuge with bold self expression - ending with zines that are entirely yours.

Zines have grown from fan culture, punk and grassroots activism. They are a DIY publishing tradition amplifying voices outwith the mainstream systems.

No previous experience necessary, all materials supplied.

Parental Employability Support Career week

Thinking about a career beauty?
Beauty services offer a range of practical career opportunities for people who enjoy working with people, offering a whole range of treatments from aromatherapy, massage nails, eyebrows, make up, skincare. This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, gain hands-on experience and explore a new career path. There is the opportunity to go on to January college courses and explore future courses that will continue on from this taster course.

As part of Career Week, we’re offering a free introduction to aromatherapy and massage. The programme includes Introduction to aromatherapy and blending your first essential oils. Practical massage techniques for the hands, arms, and feet. How to perform a relaxing, seated back and leg massage. Stress-busting routines for the head, neck, and shoulders. Combining your skills into a full routine and exploring qualification pathways.
