One year on, we remember our friend, colleague, and deeply cherished member of our community, Scotty.
In the months since, more stories have surfaced, quiet, unassuming moments of kindness that he never once sought recognition for. He helped where help was needed, stood beside those who needed support, even when he was in need himself. He touched more lives than he could ever have known, all through simple, steady compassion.
Richard was a vital part of Dalmally Fire Station and the wider community, a presence who brought laughter when it was needed most and who stood firmly for what he believed to be right.
A year has passed, yet his name is still spoken, his memory still held close, his absence still felt.
Missed every day. Never forgotten.
