πŸπŸ’œ A Big Thank You to Family Hubs! πŸ’œπŸ

We would like to say a huge thank you to the children and families from Family Hubs in Barrow-in-Furness for decorating these wonderful bees for our bee area.

The colourful bees have added a real touch of creativity and fun to the display, which is currently bursting with lavender and other bee-friendly plants. 🌿🌸

Take a look next time you're passing by and see how many decorated bees you can spot hiding amongst the flowers! πŸ‘€πŸ

How many can you find? Let us know in the comments!

Thank you again to everyone involved for helping to brighten up this lovely community feature. πŸ’›

🌸🌼 Cumbria in Bloom 2026 🌼🌸

Judging day is fast approaching on 9th July, and we're getting ready to showcase just how beautiful our little town is!

Do you have a garden, hanging basket, planter, allotment, or favourite floral display that you're proud of? We'd love to feature photos from residents in our Cumbria in Bloom portfolio. πŸ“ΈπŸŒΊ

We're also looking for blooming streets, community gardens, and colourful corners of Dalton that could be included on the judging route. If you think your street deserves recognition, please let us know!

There is still time to get involved. The Cumbria in Bloom Committee will be meeting at Dalton Town Hall on Monday 15th June at 7.00pm, and anyone interested is very welcome to come along and join us.

Please send any photographs or suggestions to the Assistant Clerk at:
πŸ“§ [email protected]

Let's work together to show the judges what makes Dalton such a wonderful place to live. 🌷🌻🌹
