Whessoe Parish Hall Whessoe Parish Hall is owned by the local community and run by Whessoe Parish Council. The meetings generally start at 7 p.m.

We want the Hall to be used as a social hub for local people and we have lots of classes and social events happening Whessoe Parish Council aims to maintain effective communication with local residents about how we conduct business and the use of our community building. Meetings of Whessoe Parish Council usually take place every two months (January, March, May, July, September and November) on Mondays in Whessoe Village Hall and are held in public. Please see The Parish Council and Meetings page for the dates of the meetings, or the noticeboard outside the Parish Hall. If you have any questions to raise with us, please come along and air your concerns; otherwise please contact the Parish Clerk. Agendas and minutes of all meetings and the policies of the Parish Council can also be found on the Agendas, Minutes and Documents page of the website. The Annual Financial Statement has a page devoted to it. The website outlines the Parish Hall facilities, the hiring charges and how the hall can be hired. At our Quiz Night last week we presented a cheque for £1586.38 to Darlington Samaritans, who were our chosen charity last year.

This year our charity is Darlington Alzheimer’s Society. All proceeds from our Quiz Nights will be going to them, so please come along and support us.
