Nearly £1.8million has been pledged through our Apprenticeship Levy Matching Service to help local businesses invest in skills and grow their workforce 🤝

So far, funding from 11 levy donors has helped 26 businesses take on 89 apprentices across Tees Valley 📈

Now we're calling on more large employers with unspent levy funds to get involved and create even more opportunities across our region 💼

With major investments creating jobs across our region, we're working to ensure local people have the skills to seize those opportunities 🌟

Applications are now OPEN for year two of the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer 🙌

The programme is helping young people aged 18 to 21 across Tees Valley take their next step into education, training or work 📝

Every young person who takes part will be guaranteed a one-to-one meeting with a dedicated local Key Worker, with support including careers advice, job searching, confidence building and training opportunities.

Young people may also be offered a paid work placement of up to five months with a local employer to gain skills, experience and a route into a career 💼

Business looking to get involved will see wages fully subsidised for up to 25 hours per week 💳
