💙 A Huge Thank You! 💙

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing school community for helping us raise a fantastic £3,645.97 for the brilliant cause of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) 💛

All of this was achieved in memory of our wonderful teaching assistant, Paula Hill – a truly special member of our school family who is greatly missed.

Your kindness and generosity have made such a difference, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together ⭐

🎶 Music at Rydal 🎶

There is nothing we enjoy more than hearing how much the children enjoy their lessons as we walk along the corridor 😊.

Year 5 had a blast exploring the history of pop music with Mrs Salt 👏🎵Listening through headphones, the classroom felt like a relaxed silent disco. The children designed creative album covers, shared opinions and occasionally burst into a chorus. We loved seeing their enthusiasm and confidence shine! ✨🎶

We are incredibly proud of all our Year 6 pupils! They have shown fantastic perseverance and resilience throughout their SATs. To celebrate completing them, we organised a special rewards afternoon where they enjoyed their very own cinema experience, complete with some delicious sweet treats.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Ben’s Plants at Neasham and Paddock Farm at Dalton for their very kind donation of plants to our Year 1 Garden 🌼🌿

As you can see from the photos, the children have already been busy planting, watering and caring for the new additions. The garden is starting to look wonderful, and the pupils are loving getting hands-on and learning about how things grow! 🌸💚

We truly appreciate your generosity and support in helping us create a special outdoor learning space for our children.

Last week, our Year 5 pupils had their very first session with Esh Construction, and what an experience it was! The children were fully engaged, asking fantastic questions and gaining a real insight into the exciting world of construction.

It’s such a great way to open their eyes to future careers and start those all‑important conversations about aspirations and possibilities 🚀

✨Rydal's new Outdoor Village is open! ✨

We were thrilled to welcome Tim Fisher, Our Partnership CEO, to officially open our EYFS Outdoor Village.

The children were so excited exploring all the new areas – bakery, vets, gym, supermarket, school, architects… they really have it all! ✨

A huge thank you to Northern Arch Learning Partnership for funding this creative, fun-filled learning space. The smiles say it all!
