Here we have Scott Cochrane from Darvel Dexter meats receiving his certificate for completing his Modern apprenticeship in Meat and Poultry SCQF 5.

Scott' s story is quite remarkable from a farming background to engineering and now butchery. After his Mum Mary set up a very successful butcher business Scott had decided he wanted to learn more about the meat industry and enrolled on the Craft Skills Scotland training programme. After completing his course his mum decided to hand over the reins to Scott who took over the business.

Still looking to learn and enhance his knowledge Scott will be moving on to our SQCF 6 programme.

Congratulations Scott on completing your course and I look forward to working with you in the future.
