I'm excited to announce that I'll be having a pop up stall inside Darwen market next Saturday 29th August. I rarely have stalls in my hometown, but I thought I'd give the opportunity to my new followers in Darwen to see my handmade bags, purses and accessories. Attention Darwen primary schools and community groups! 📢📢

The Art Explora Mobile Museum will be coming to Darwen very soon, and it's a fantastic opportunity for children to experience pieces from the Government Art Collection 🖼

The Mobile Museum is touring a specially curated exhibition called ‘Shaped by the Sea’, which explores the complex human relationship with the sea and includes historic works that document the UK’s coastlines and ports 🌊⚓

It's all about making art accessible for all, and we're really excited to be a summer 2026 tour location 🤩

The Mobile Museum team are hosting FREE pre-booked school visits next week, and there's some slots left! To find out more please email [email protected] 📩

As GCSE Results Day 2026 draws to a close, we'd like to say well done to students who collected their grades today in Darwen 📋👨‍🎓

GCSEs are tough, and it's an achievement to sit exams and complete coursework, so give yourself credit! 🙌

We'd also like to say well done to parents and carers, and of course to the dedicated teachers who believe in their students ✨

🎶 Ukulele Zero to Ukulele Hero in 10 minutes with Richard Moss 🎶

📍Darwen Market Annexe

Join Richard for an inclusive workshop where all ages can play and sing fun songs with the ukulele within minutes!

You don't need an instrument or any musical experience, just a little enthusiasm 😁

This is a free drop in activity between 11am and 3pm - if you have your own ukulele then bring it along, but Richard will supply ukuleles for everyone to have a go 🙌

Suitable for ages 5+

(Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.)
