🐾 On Sunday 7th June Daventry Town Council will be welcoming local prized pooches to Bark in the Park – a fun dog show for all the family plus your four-legged friends
🐾 £2 to enter each class and activity, including Best in Show
🐾 There'll also be plenty of tasty food and drink, alongside lots of stalls selling treats and gifts for pups and people alike

Cllr Keith Astley was recently elected as Mayor of Daventry for the Council Year 2026/2027. Keith has served as a Town Councillor since 2025 and, having supported his ward during that time, is now looking forward to becoming more widely involved across the Daventry community.

🌟 Yesterday marked Cllr Katie Thurston’s final day in office as Mayor of Daventry, following a packed year of engagements, events, and hosting her own James Bond-themed Charity Ball.

🎉 During her mayoral year, Cllr Thurston also worked tirelessly to raise funds for her chosen charities: EnFold - Northamptonshire Autism Support and Home-Start Daventry & South Northants.

🌟 Throughout the year, Cllr Thurston attended a wide range of events, including sports club sessions, church services, shop openings, galas, exhibitions, concerts, and musical performances, as well as taking part in all Daventry Town Council organised events. It’s certainly been a busy year!

🌟 Daventry Town Council would like to thank Katie for her hard work and dedication during her time in office. Your commitment to our town has made a real difference, and we are truly grateful for everything you have done.
