"We're under paid" say the civil service.
Aside from the salary, look at the pension.
The employee pays 7%, the employer (i.e. us, the taxpayer) pays , for this job, 29%.
Self employed? fund your own pension.
Employee, employer contribution in the private sector will be 3% to 6% ish normally.
Civil service, "we need a big salary to be competitive with the private sector and have an extra third on top as a pension, that no one in the private sector gets. Plus car, bonuses etc etc"
And of course, as it's all unionised, Labour will be giving them massive pay increases too.
Conservatives added 600k new civil service jobs in the 5 years before Labour got in.
Labour aren't slowing down the jobs or the pay.
Our taxes will go up to keep paying for this.
Only Reform wanted to address this.
We won't see any increase in the quality of our services.
When Labour (and Conservatives were no different) say there isn't any money, it means there isn't any money for the tax payer.
No shortage of money to give away.
Local councils are the same.
Bottomless pits.
Local elections in May 2025.
Stand, to start to make a difference.
Or at least when it's time to vote, vote in them and vote for the Reform candidate.
Local elections have a very low turnout, it won't take much for a landslide change of councillors who can then start to hold WNC and NNC to account.
