A very happy new year to you all, and with a blink of an eye the year has flown by, lots of exciting updates this year for Delabole, with the delivery and training of our MAN appliance, which the crew would like to thank the hard working teams behind the scenes making these reality, workshops, assets and the driver training teams, all worthy of a massive thank you.
This year the team at Delabole has attended 122 incidents,
AFA( automatic fire alarm) 34
Fires 37
Rtc (road traffic collision). 5
Standby 13
Gorse. 19
SSC (special service call). 10
Chimney. 1
Animal rescue. 3
The team has also attended many community events over the year, visiting schools when time permits and joining in the community with carnivals etc, The summer fete was huge success and it was lovely to witness the joy from our community’s little people when Santa descended for an evening out with the crew. A very busy year, recruitment closes on the 04/01/2026 so there’s still time to get the application form filled in and join the team. The crew wish you all a happy and safe new year 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒

A huge thank you to all that came out to support us this evening and see Santa 🎅, special thank you to Ness Gettings for the half way treats and Jeanette for the flapjacks, hugely appreciated. Santa has left some treat bags at Hair Heaven for any little person that missed us, so please pop in and grab one.
