🌿🧵 Try Something Creative & Sustainable at Your Local Library! 🧵🌿

Join artist Caroline Coates at Denton West End Community Library for a beautiful and mindful Sashiko Inspired Visual Mending Workshop! ✨

🪡 Learn the traditional Japanese stitching technique of Sashiko, a simple but stunning way to repair and decorate clothes. It’s perfect for beginners and a great way to give your favourite garments a new lease of life. Sashiko is known for its relaxing, repetitive stitching and its roots in strengthening and repairing fabric while creating decorative patterns.

👕 What to expect:
• Learn simple stitches and visible mending techniques
• Create your own unique textile designs
• Take home new skills to repair and personalise your clothes

🧵All materials are provided — just bring your creativity!
