What does being ready for adulthood actually look like?

Cooking. Budgeting. Travelling independently. Managing appointments.
They all matter.

But so does finding something you enjoy.
Having your own interests.
Working out what you're good at.
And having people around you who give you the space to explore it.

For some of our young people, that's music, writing lyrics and spending time creating.

Preparing for adulthood isn't only about what a young person can do on their own.
It's also about helping them work out what they want their life to look like.

Looking for the right care or support can involve a lot of questions.

What support is available?
Who is it suitable for?
What does everyday life actually look like?
And who do you speak to if you want to know more?

We've built the Oasis Care website to make those answers easier to find.

You can explore our residential care, supported accommodation, solo accommodation and respite services, learn more about how we support people, read real stories from across Oasis Care, and find information for families and professionals.

For professionals looking for a placement, our Referral & Placements Hub also brings together placement options, current availability and how to refer.

Take a look around and get to know Oasis Care.

Having a say matters.

We spend time with young people talking about their ideas, their goals and what matters to them.

Sometimes that's in a planned session.
Sometimes it's a conversation in the car, over dinner or while doing something together.

It doesn't always have to be formal.

What matters is that young people have opportunities to speak, share what they think and know that someone is listening.

That's something we try to make part of everyday life at Oasis.

Sometimes, a little extra support can make a real difference.

Our respite care service provides a safe and welcoming place for people who need short-term support, while giving families and carers some time to recharge or manage other commitments.

During their stay, we take the time to understand the person — their routines, what they enjoy, how they communicate, and the support that works best for them.

Whether it's for a planned stay or regular respite, we want it to feel comfortable, familiar and something the person can enjoy too.

The sunshine has definitely turned up this week! ☀️

We've been making the most of it where we can, getting outside, enjoying the fresh air and trying not to melt in the process.

Plenty of cold drinks and shady spots too.

Hope everyone's managing to keep cool and enjoy a bit of the sunshine.

Sometimes support looks like this.
A bit of encouragement.
A bit of a laugh.
A high five when something's gone well.

Staff taking the time to get to know the people they support and being there for the everyday moments.

That's a big part of life at Oasis.

Welcome to Riverside Court.

Riverside Court is our Ofsted-registered supported accommodation home for young people aged 16–18.

Here, young people have their own bedroom within a shared home, with support that's shaped around who they are and where they want to get to.

Day to day, that might mean learning to cook, managing money, getting to college or work, building routines, or simply having someone to talk things through with.

We know there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Every young person is different, and our role is to provide the right support, at the right time, while they build the skills and confidence to move forward.

To find out more about Riverside Court, visit our website or get in touch with our team.
