Extremely honoured to be asked to fit the two memorials on behalf of the US military and government 🇺🇸.
We didn’t make or letter the USA war memorials but had the privilege of fitting them for the service and welcoming of the relatives and USA dignitaries.

A very proud moment for us at Horobin Memorials to restore the memorial of
John “Jack “ Kirby.

Kirby is best remembered as the only Derby player touring Germany in 1934 who refused to give the N**i salute before each game.

As a Derby based company It has been a huge honour and a privilege to be asked to restore another one of Derby County hero’s and bring this memorial back to its original state.

To a true DCFC legend and Pioneer, Thank you Jack.

The "weathered" grave of a Derby County player who defied the N**is during the club's 1934 tour of Germany has been restored.
