Last week, a Brighton landlord was fined over £11,000 for breaching fire safety legislation. Here's what went wrong...

At the landlord's property, several fire risk assessments were conducted. The fire hazard findings included:

🔥An unsecured and unprotected electrical intake cupboard
🔥A mattress obstructing the ground floor escape route
