A casual, judgement-free space to chat and meet other parents.

Whether your child has a diagnosis, is awaiting assessment, or you're just beginning to seek support, you are very welcome to join us.

There’s no agenda and no pressure, just a chance to meet other parent carers who understand the joys and challenges of raising a child or young person with SEND.

As well as friendly conversation, you'll have the opportunity to speak with SENDIASS Derby SEND Information Advice and Support Service and Derby SAL (Derby SEND Advice Line) for information, advice, and support.

We can offer a listening ear, signposting, peer support, and a free drink for our members.

Inclusive multi sports for 18+

Multi-sport sessions are adapted to be inclusive for those living with a disability, SEND, neurodivergence or health condition. Led by a qualified coach. Sessions are £3.50, and a carer can take part for free.

Autism Central offers NHS-funded support for parents, carers and support networks of autistic people of all ages.

They provide a range of free online group learning events for families and a monthly newsletter. You can also book a free one-to-one coaching session (online or phone) with a peer guide to access practical guidance.
