Let's Break The Stigma Around Periods.
We’re proud to be part of a welcoming swimming community where everyone feels confident, supported, and included in the water.
A huge thank you to Training Aquatic Courses and Active Derbyshire for supporting our swimmers by providing free Period Packs, available at all of our sessions.
We know that periods can sometimes stop girls from taking part in sport and physical activity, and we want to help change that. Swimming and being active builds confidence, supports wellbeing, and helps young people thrive, and periods should never be a barrier to joining in.
Together with our colleagues at Training Aquatic Courses, we’re helping to break the stigma around periods and create a positive, supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable taking part and enjoying swimming.
