Today we have been supporting HVL Solutions as they carried out the successful exchange of a fire hydrant on the fire hydrant system at Markeaton Park, Derby. 👷‍♂️🔧

Maintaining fire hydrant infrastructure is essential to ensure reliable water supplies are available for the Fire & Rescue Service in the event of an emergency. Following the installation, the hydrant was pressure tested and commissioned to confirm it was operating correctly and performing to the required standard. ✅💦

A great example of teamwork and professionalism, ensuring critical fire protection assets remain fully operational for the safety of the local community. Well done to everyone involved! 👏

Another successful project completed by Derbyshire Fire and Safety!✅

Today we completed the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) at the historic Darley Abbey Mills. It’s been a pleasure working at such an iconic location over the last three days, helping to ensure electrical equipment remains safe, compliant, and fit for continued use. ⚡🔌

Now it’s back to the office on Friday to catch up on reports, certification, and planning before heading up to Bridlington for the weekend, where we’ll be supporting the RNLI in promoting the importance of water safety. 🌊🛟
