From Chellaston crossroads to historic bridges, key routes across Derby are changing to keep people moving safely and smoothly.

The original Darley Abbey Mills Bridge is no more. The unsafe structure has now been demolished and we’re getting the site ready to reinstate Walters Walkway as soon as we can. There’s still work to do to make the site safe, so please continue to stay away.

Major upgrades are complete at the junction of Merrill Way and Chellaston Road as we try and make travel smoother for all road users and pedestrians.
