Blue Sky Brokers are Pioneers in all things Direct Payment, providing support to individuals for over 15 years, giving individuals Choice and Control around their care and support needs, to live independently in the community. Formerly a service based with Disability Direct, Blue Sky is now set up as it's own social enterprise ready, willing and able to support disabled and older people right through the PB process - from getting a support plan to finding providers to fulfil your needs - we're here for you!

Caring can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting, isolating and emotionally challenging. It’s important that carers know they don’t have to cope alone. 💚

Today is a reminder to:
✨ Check in with yourself, not just the person you care for
✨ Talk to someone if things are becoming difficult
✨ Take a break when you can, without feeling guilty
✨ Reach out for support when you need it
✨ Remember that your wellbeing matters too

Whether you’re a carer, a family member, a friend or a professional supporting others — looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health.
