🌟🎉 OPEN EVENING COMPETITION WINNER ANNOUNCED! 🎉🌟
What a fantastic Open Evening we had in the Design & Technology department! It was brilliant to see so many Year 6 pupils and families getting involved in our activities, asking questions, and experiencing what DT at Neatherd has to offer.
After finally working our way through all of the entries for our "Identify the Unusual Fruits and Vegetables" Challenge, we are delighted to announce that the winner is...
🏆 ABBIE R 🏆
A huge congratulations to Abbie, who correctly identified the most fruits and vegetables and has won the competition! 👏👏👏
🎁 Abbie, please come and collect your prize from Neatherd Reception.
For those who have been eagerly waiting to find out the answers, the mystery fruits and vegetables were:
✅ Sharon Fruit
✅ Dragon Fruit
✅ Bottle Gourd
✅ Chayote
✅ Pomegranate
✅ Mooli
✅ Passion Fruit
✅ Eddoe
✅ Turmeric
✅ Figs
Honestly, these were incredibly tricky, and we were very impressed by how many pupils had a go and challenged themselves. Some of the entries were extremely close!
👏 Well done to everyone who took part. We hope you enjoyed exploring some unusual foods from around the world and discovering that there is much more to fruit and vegetables than what we usually see in the supermarket.
