The Playtrail is a unique play & educational facility located within the grounds of Ardnashee School & College on the Racecourse Road, Derry. The facility incorporates a number of significant play facilities outdoor auditorium, straw bale house (EcoBase) and community allotment scheme. All facilities are linked by an accessible trail network. Managed by the Liberty Consortium, the facility hosts a

range of programmes & activities, is used as a venue for conference facilities and school visits. Our main funders are DFC, EA Youth Service, National Lottery Community Fund, Western H&SCT and BBC Children in Need.

Our juniors have had a fantastic time enjoying a variety of stimulating and engaging activities!

Members took part in Jo Jingles sessions, relaxation and massage activities, creative arts and crafts, fun games, and enjoyed spending quality time with their friends. It has been wonderful to see so many happy faces, smiles, and laughter at BUD Juniors. 💙😊

A brilliant 40 hours in Glasgow for the HUB Hurricanes, who travelled over to take part in the Celtic Foundation Ability Counts Tournament! ⚽💚
Our Hurricanes had an amazing time, giving their all on and off the pitch. We're incredibly proud of the team for finishing as Overall Tournament Runners-Up this year! 🏆🥈

More importantly, the tournament gave our young people the opportunity to make new friends, build confidence, develop new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

A special congratulations to our very own Blake, who was awarded Team Player of the Tournament, a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved! 👏⭐

A huge thank you to Coach Niall from Kick On Coaching, Sean from the Celtic Foundation, and our wonderful staff team for making opportunities like this possible and ensuring our young people continue to enjoy such positive and memorable experiences.

We used food items from our Community Fridge & fresh herbs grown at The Playtrail.

We got our cob oven fired up & the results were delicious 😍
