๐Ÿ’™ One Run. One Mission. Countless Lives Touched. ๐Ÿ’™

This summer, an incredible journey begins.

From 26th June to 5th July 2026, Dene Harley will run the full length of Ireland โ€” taking on the legendary Mizen to Malin route in support of Foyle Search & Rescue and Mens Action Network NI.

Hundreds of miles.
Relentless physical and mental endurance.
One powerful purpose.

Every step of this challenge is about raising awareness for mental health and reminding people that no one has to struggle alone.

Mental health affects every community, every family, and every generation. By taking on this extraordinary challenge, Dene is helping to spark important conversations, raise vital funds, and encourage people to reach out when they need support.

At Foyle Search & Rescue, we see firsthand how important connection, compassion, and support can be. We are incredibly grateful to Dene for choosing to support these causes through such an inspiring effort.

Together, we can help break stigma, encourage hope, and remind people that help is always there.

Please like, share, and follow the journey as Dene runs from Mizen Head to Malin Head for mental health awareness.

โš ๏ธ Another warm day ahead โ€” but the water remains deadly.

Over the past week, multiple people across the UK and Ireland, many of them teenagers and children, have lost their lives in rivers, lakes and coastal waters during the warm weather. Families are now facing unimaginable loss.

Please do not mistake warm air temperatures for safe water conditions.

Cold water shock can affect anyone within seconds โ€” even strong swimmers.

Before going near the water:
๐Ÿ›Ÿ Never swim alone
๐Ÿ“ฑ Carry a means of calling for help
๐Ÿบ Avoid alcohol near water
๐Ÿ‘ง Keep children within armโ€™s reach
๐ŸŒŠ Respect currents, tides and hidden dangers

If you get into trouble:
โžก๏ธ Float on your back
โžก๏ธ Control your breathing
โžก๏ธ Call for help

If you see someone in difficulty:
๐Ÿ“ž Call 999/112 and ask for Coastguard.
