Foyle Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Foyle Hospice, situated by the River Foyle in Derry/Londonderry, provides palliative and end-of-life care for patients suffering from Cancer. Patients with other life-limiting illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's Disease and COPD are also cared for. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.

30 Days of Good Deeds starts now 🧡

Foyle Hospice is proud to be one of five organisations benefitting from 30 Days of Good Deeds, a global kindness campaign created by the Mo Chuisle Foundation and introduced by our Chief Executive, Donall Henderson.

June has 30 days, and the ask is simple: take 10 minutes to think of someone else and do a good deed. Walk a neighbour’s dog. Visit someone living alone. Make a cup of coffee for your mum. Big or small, it all counts, and together we can spread kindness far beyond our own streets.

How to take part:

🧡Do a good deed
🧡Donate (even a small amount) at 30daysofgooddeeds.com
🧡Share your story on social media and invite/tag so it can be shared
🧡Use and
🧡Tag 3 friends and ask them to do a good deed to keep it going

And there’s a Foyle Hospice twist... throughout June, Donall will be giving away a prize in each of our Foyle Hospice shops to one lucky customer. Keep an eye on our socials for clues. You’ll find our shops in Derry/Londonderry, Limavady, Strabane, Castlederg and Ballykelly.

Foyle Hospice Female Walk/Run throwback to where it all began - Were you a trailblazer?

Over the years, the Walk/Run has become one of the North West’s most loved community events 💙.

💙 Volunteers' Week 2026 💙

This week, we are celebrating Volunteers' Week (1–7 June) and recognising the incredible people who give their time, skills and energy to support Foyle Hospice 👏

From fundraising and retail to gardening, administration, patient support and much more, our volunteers play a vital role in helping us continue providing specialist care and support to patients, families and carers across the North West.

Throughout the week, we'll be shining a spotlight on some of the amazing individuals who make such a difference behind the scenes.

Rachael Dobbins, our Volunteer Coordinator, works closely with our fantastic volunteer community. Rachael says volunteers have always been a huge part of the Foyle Hospice story and their dedication continues to make a lasting impact on the patients and families we support every day.

To every one of our volunteers — thank you for your kindness, commitment and generosity. We simply couldn't do it without you 💙.
