The County Library Service no longer label Adult fiction book spines for genre. As a consequence we have had to re-order books on the shelves alphabetically by Author. Whilst this may be a little confusing at first I'm sure it will be soon accepted

SUPPORT FOR DESFORD

We need to raise in excess of £6000 this year to meet our expenses (mainly utilities). We have been contacting local firms looking for financial support & are grateful to TROPICAL BIRDLAND & THE REAL MACAW CAFE for supporting us.

We still need to raise the majority of the £6000 & would ask if anyone, either through a workplace or personally, would be willing to donate to us. Either direct within the Library or please contact me for bank details if you wish to donate directly at the email below

Accessible Toilet Installation

The installation is scheduled to start Monday 2nd March. Access will be as normal albeit perhaps with a fenced of section against the wall.

It is expected the works will take around 10 days & the Library will remain open during this time. Some disruption to services may occur during electrical installations but (hopefully) we will have warning.

Part of the car park will be barriered off to allow for skip, materials & works vans
