Dickleburgh Pre-School Group Dickleburgh Pre-School opened in April 2010 to provide a welcoming, happy, safe and well planned environment for children aged 2-4 years to learn and play.

This week is ‘British Science Week’ and the children have engaged in lots of learning through carrying out different experiments including, red cabbage, magic milk and magic balloon activities. They have also explored forces through pushing and pulling, parts of a daffodil and looked at objects under the microscope.

The children were so interested in the big icicle that had formed on the crate. They used their hands to explore the texture and feel of the ice and talked about how it was melting when they held it. We placed the crate in a sunny spot and watched as it began melting and turned into water on the table.
