The Bressingham Gardens is a mecca for all gardeners, with 17 acres of intensely planted gardens containing (at last count) over 8000 species and cultivars of perennials, grasses, shrubs, trees, conifers, ferns and bulbs. The 2 main gardens, created by Alan Bloom and his son Adrian (both awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour by the RHS), are expansive and colourful throu

ghout the main open season from late March until the end of October. A place to enjoy, dawdle and pick up a few ideas. There is also a special winter opening (see our website for details). Bressingham Gardens Nursery:

The Nursery, run by Adrian Bloom’s son Jason, offers a wide range of perennials and grasses grown at Bressingham and available by mail order. See our website for details.

📍 Bressingham Hall Courtyard

Our monthly market is building into a vibrant destination for local food & drink, and we’re looking for more foodie stallholders to join our growing line-up.

We’re currently looking for:

• 🫒 Oils, vinegars & dressings
• 🌶 Chilli products & hot sauces
• 🥬 Ferments (kimchi, sauerkraut etc.)
• 🧃 Local juices, apple juice & kombucha
• 🍖 Locally reared meat

• 🥗 Fresh food to take home — salads, tarts & homemade meals
• 🧀 Dairy produce & cheeses

Bressingham Hall lies on the A1066, three miles going west from Diss or 15 miles going east from Thetford. The Hall is immediately west of the Steam Museum and Garden Centre but please follow the signs which say "Bressingham Hall and High Barn Only" and then park in the car park adjoining the High Barn. Tours start in the Barn.
(If you are coming from Thetford and reach the Garden Centre/Steam Museum you have gone too far. Coming from Diss the drive you want is immediately after the Steam Museum).
