💪✨ Proof that our Town Clerk can achieve anything… even in a satin dress! 😂

Yesterday, we celebrated Robert and Melissa’s incredible 20 years of service at Diss Town Council. 👏 A huge thank you to you both for all your hard work and dedication over the past two decades! 🥰

Meanwhile, Sarah still found time to complete her daily charity plank! Nothing gets in the way of a good cause!

Still plenty of time to donate:

The railings around our Garden of Remembrance received a fresh coat of paint this week – looking much better! 🙂

🌿 The planter outside the DYCC has been given a new lease of life thanks to our local volunteers, who have transformed it into a lovely little community herb garden.

The herbs need a little more time to settle in, but we hope the community will enjoy picking and using them once they’re ready. 🌱 Just remember to leave plenty for others to enjoy too! 😊

On Friday, our Town Clerk, Sarah, completed her 9th plank at Diss Swim Centre in support of their Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser!

Sarah met the lovely Nicola, who runs a range of classes at the centre, including Aqua Zumba. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the fantastic facilities on offer at Diss Swim Centre, which is also home to Diss Otters Swim Club.

Sarah is completing a plank every day throughout October to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in memory of former Diss Town Councillors, Eric Taylor and John Robertson.
