PATROLS: Meet the NPT officers keeping you safe in Edlington 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

Come rain or shine, PC Ellie Dobrzynski and PC Chris Cammack are in Edlington carrying out patrols, talking to residents and understanding more about the issues affecting you 🌧️☀️

They try to be as visible as possible in the local community and if you see them while they're out and about in Edlington, please speak to them about any concerns you have, as they would love to chat to you 💙

But if you can't see them in the community, don't worry. Just because you can't see them, it doesn't mean they're not there.

As well as visible patrols, your neighbourhood policing team officers carry out plain-clothed operations to target certain types of offenders with lots of work going on behind the scenes such as intelligence gathering, digital investigations and building case files against offenders to secure justice for victims.

Thank you for your ongoing support - the team looks forward to speaking to more of you while they're out and about in Edlington.

On Tuesday 11th August, partners from &Denaby came together for a Day of Engagement and action which focused on tackling the issues that matter the most to residents.

The day combined engagement, education and enforcement to address ongoing concerns around antisocial behaviour, crime and community safety, while offering visible reassurance and support to the community.

Since the launch of the Conisbrough and Denaby Regenerative Working model, partners have been working collaboratively to develop and deliver targeted action plans on issues which affect the community and partners. These plans are further shaped and driven through Regenerative Tasking Meetings, with oversight from the Your Neighbourhood Delivery Group.

This day of action was a key opportunity to strengthen relationships, build trust and demonstrate the power of partnership working in responding to local priorities.

Some of days taskings:

• Resident engagement through Community Impact Surveys.

• Engagement and Visibility and key hotspot locations.

• Pop up stalls, including crime prevention materials.

• Engagement with businesses throughout the ward.

• Enforcement Officer to carry out estate walks in hotspot locations.

• WISE to carry out litter/dog fouling patrols.

• Duty of care inspections at commercial properties.

• General Cleanse of the locality.

• Litter pick in hotspot locations.

• High Visibility Patrols at hotspot locations.

• Pop up CLS (Community Led Support) with Neighbourhoods Team.

• Resident engagement regarding crime prevention.

• Speed Operations.

This was a positive day for all involved parties and proof that working together is for the benefit of ALL local residents.

We will continue to work collectively to make the streets safer for everyone.

🗣️ Doncaster Neighbourhoods Chief Inspector Joe Hunt said: "We will continue to work reactively to respond to reports of vehicle thefts and also proactively through targeted operations to identify offenders, recover stolen vehicles and disrupt the criminal networks behind them.

"As always, your reports are crucial. The sooner a vehicle theft is reported to us, the sooner we can act and by working together we can make sure our vehicles and streets are protected from criminals."

RETAIL CRIME: Prolific Doncaster shoplifter banned from every One Stop in South Yorkshire 🚫

An investigation into a serial Doncaster shoplifter has resulted in her being handed a three-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) and banned from every One Stop in the county.

Katie Hudson relentlessly targeted One Stop stores as she admitted 13 counts of thefts and assault by beating after attacking a shop worker mid-theft.

The terms of her CBO mean that she must NOT:

❌ Enter any One Stop store in South Yorkshire
❌ Enter the Asda store in Springwell Lane, Balby

This order will remain in place until 9 July 2029. If Hudson breaches the terms of her CBO, she could be sent back to prison 🔐

ASB: Reckless teen on stolen off-road bike arrested by officers after pursuit in Doncaster 🚨 🏍️

An intelligence led crackdown on illegal and dangerous off road bikes has led to eight seizures across Doncaster, after neighbourhood officers joined forces with our Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team and the National Police Air Service (NPAS).

Footage captured by National Police Air Service HQ during the operation showed the reckless behaviour of riders putting innocent people at risk.

One teenager was seen weaving through traffic, speeding through a park and abandoning his bike and clothing in bushes - but with NPAS tracking his every move, both were recovered. When officers moved in, the 17-year-old assaulted an officer before being arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance, assaulting an emergency worker and other offences.

The operation resulted in the seizure of two electric bikes, three e-scooters, a pit bike, a quad bike and a stolen motorbike, targeting priority areas in the south of Doncaster, including Edlington, Conisbrough, Denaby and Mexborough.

🔈🗣️ PC Nick Biggs, from Doncaster South Neighbourhood Policing Team, has urged residents to keep reporting illegal off road bike activity:

“We have been listening to our communities about their concerns and frustrations with regards to off-road motorbikes and the nuisance they cause.

"This is an issue we are taking seriously and we want you to know that we are actively pursuing these riders and where possible, we will take enforcement action to keep our roads and communities safe.

"We are always looking at our next operation and where the priority areas are, so the more calls we get about off road bikes, the better we can target your area and deliver results."
