Proud to support the bid for Conisbrough .....

Exciting news, Conisbrough! 🏰✨ We have officially registered our interest for the UK Town of Culture 2028 competition!
This is our chance to put Conisbrough on the national stage, celebrating everything that makes us unique—from our iconic 12th-century Castle and Sir Walter Scott’s Ivanhoe to our proud mining heritage and the thriving community spirit seen at events like Conisbrough Music Fest.

Why this matters:
Major Funding: The winning town receives a £3 million prize to host a year-long cultural showcase.

Local Boost: The bid aims to drive economic growth, revive our high streets, and widen access to the arts for everyone.

Step One: If we are shortlisted this Spring, we’ll receive £60,000 in development funding to finalise our vision!.
Local leaders, including John Healey MP, are already backing the proposal. Now we need your voice.
Let’s show the UK why Conisbrough’s heritage matters to the national story.

What is your favourite thing about our town’s culture? 👇
