🏰 Conisbrough Castle — standing while generations come and go.

Living in South Yorkshire, Conisbrough Castle is one of those landmarks that feels as though it has always been there — watching the world around it change.

It also became the inspiration for “Castle”, one of the poems in my husband’s poetry collection, Ineffable.

From battles and centuries of history to children playing beneath its walls today, the poem imagines the castle as a silent guardian — watching generations live their lives around it. ❤️

There’s something rather special about seeing a piece of our local history become part of something my husband created.
